Throughout the boot camp, you will learn advanced features and functionality of Google tools such as Google Workspace for Education, Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Meet and more.
Additionally, you will learn best practices for integrating these tools into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning.
You will work through various hands-on activities and projects to develop your skills and understanding of the tools and how to use them effectively in the classroom. The boot camp will also include opportunities for you to share and learn from your peers through collaborative activities and discussions.
Certified Google Educators lead the course with extensive experience with the tools and can provide expert guidance and support to you. Upon completing the boot camp, you will have the knowledge and skills necessary to take and pass the Google Certified Educator Level 2 exam, demonstrating your proficiency with the tools and ability to use them to enhance teaching and learning.
It really gets you thinking about ‘why’ you do what you do. Great to have time out from the classroom to experiment and have time to think and discuss different ideas.
The context was relevant, practical, made sense, and made me critically think about ways to change or improve school teaching and learning conditions.
I went along with no clear idea of what I wanted to look at, and found a whole load of useful stuff.
