Where they can be a part of a network for learning and continue to strengthen their skills and resources within the classroom.
This group will meet 3 times a term and explore the expansive role of a teacher and build a bank of helpful resources to use within the classroom.

The PCT Enrichment Program is designed to support Provisionally Certified Teachers in their early years of teaching. By the end of this 12 month program, PCTs will:
- Have an understanding of the professional standards and how these can effect the day-to-day role of a teacher.
- Learn how to develop their own pedagogy and the heutagogy for their students.
- Unpack effective learning strategies within literacy and numeracy
- Have an understanding of the use of digital tools within their classroom and how these can enhance what they are already doing.

Program Topics
- Developing a Personal Learning Network and setting goals
- Working on and reflecting on goals throughout the year (GROWTH coaching model)
- Understanding the Guidance and Mentoring guidelines
- Professional Standards (Vision, Code of Conduct, and Teaching Standards)
- Effective teaching and learning strategies for best practice in Literacy
- Assessment strategies, feedback/ feedforward and report writing techniques
- Effective teaching and learning strategies in Maths
- Managing time and tips for efficiency
- Effectively using cloud-based storage tools and email platforms
*Course Prerequisites: Educators who are provisionally registered.
