Social Media Strategist
Creative Content Queen
I’m just a teenager putting my social media addiction to good use. My promise is to inject fun into your feed!

Here’s what I do

I keep people in the loop by creating dynamic content across UTB’s social media platforms. Whether you tune in via Instagram reels, Twitter treads or Facebook posts, I make sure you’re only one tap away from what’s happening in the world of tech, education and business.

Here’s why I do it

One afternoon during lockdown a notification flashed on my phone saying I’d spent five hours on Instagram that day! Feeling somewhat defeated and like I’d wasted the day, I decided to put my knowledge and understanding of social media to good use. I’m beyond passionate about seeing companies thrive thanks to social media. I can’t help but get excited when I come across a branded Facebook ad that actually looks good! Creating content that connects with people online is special, because it means no matter where we live in the world there’s always the opportunity to connect.

What’s my style

I’m a ‘fun focused’ kind of gal. This means if a post does not look engaging or exciting, it most likely won’t go up. I know that our followers support us because we stick to our motto, “Training that is enjoyed, not endured,” so creating content that aligns with that message is what I strive for.

Why I’ve got what it takes

As a young adult I couldn’t be more ready to learn! I spend my mornings in online workshops and my evenings listening to podcasts soaking up the latest trends, tips, and tricks. One of our awesome trainers, Sam, has talked about the power of asking for help and being teachable in her podcast, LearnBytes. This concept has helped me to give things a go, even if I’m not a professional (yet!).

If you know me, you’ll know this much is true

I’m passionate about all things whimsical. Balloons, bubbles, and kites excite me, and I can never walk past a sprinkled donut! This means the work I create is usually playful and lighthearted. My superpower is my ability to see the good in anything. I’m a pro at living on the bright side. This comes in handy when I face challenges at work. No situation is too overwhelming, as I’m able to approach setbacks with a positive attitude.

Where I lay my head

I am based in Queenstown, and it’s one of my favorite ways to brag! In winter I ski, and in summer I jetski. I’ve been living here for 6 years now and still feel like a tourist. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the amazing views!
