How to hold a great virtual Christmas party

This year Using Technology Better held their very first virtual staff Christmas party! With the core team spread across three countries and four time zones, a face-to-face party wasn’t practical. So in the spirit of Christmas cheer, team bonding and employee morale, Mike scheduled us a virtual one over Google Hangouts. Then, as all good leaders do, he delegated the task of organising it to the first team member that showed enthusiasm.

By utilising the wisdom and experience of staff and creating blended learning environments, students should be able to operate in their preferred modality of learning whilst controlling certain aspects of their learning pathway.
Some of our kids are stuck in a game of educational Monopoly, losing motivation and having nowhere to go as it is raining outside. It is our responsibility to maybe pack away the Monopoly board and introduce a new paradigm to them.
